Kid Central offers before and After School programs at six elementary school sites and two middle schools
Monday's Presidents Day holiday inspired some wonderful crafts and artwork at all-day care at Sycamore Park Elementary School. During the day the kids constructed Lincoln log houses with pretzels and icing, and created Cherry Trees inspired by George Washington's story about honesty. They also enjoyed theme classes on George Washington and Abraham Lincoln from Mr. Marshall.

This week’s Kid Central Kid in Focus is Reese Allen, a popular and gregarious 5th grader at Yowell Elementary’s afterschool program. ![]()
“Reese is a very outgoing and positive kid,” said the Kid Central staff at her school. “We all see great things in store for Reese.” ![]()
Reese is an honor roll student with lots of drive to succeed. Her favorite subject is math. ![]()
She is an active learner, and she likes to sink a few shots playing basketball as well. She is also an avid reader; her favorite books currently are the “Dogman Series.”![]()
As for hobbies she likes to learn about airplanes. ![]()
If Reese had a superpower she would select teleportation. Her personal heroes are her mother and father. ![]()
If Reese had a theme song it would be “Lush Life” by Zara Larsson. ![]()
When Reese grows up, she wants to help protect baby turtles along the coast. She wants to become a Marine Conservationist.![]()
We all believe that Reese has an amazing future ahead.
