This week’s Kid Central Kid in Focus is Alivia Exline, a middle schooler who attends Sycamore Park Elementary School’s aftercare program. Alivia has been a popular kid among staff and students since her time in elementary school.“Alivia is one of the sweetest young ladies we know. She is constantly making friends with kids within our program,” said the KC staff at Sycamore Park. “She is always willing to help others when needed. She goes above and beyond to make our program a fun place for all the kids.”“I will always recall time spent with Alivia and other kids during the time we offered special childcare for essential workers during the COVID pandemic,” said Marshall Conner, sports and marketing coordinator for Kid Central. “She was always beaming with positive energy when we were all worried during the first year of the pandemic. I used to joke with her about the dance songs we played for exercise classes. She’s a wonderful young lady.” Alivia is a dynamic student excelling in math, choir, theater, cheerleading, and more at Floyd T Binns Middle School. When she is not achieving greatness, she enjoys singing, dancing and munching a quality sub sandwich. Alivia’s favorite sport is cheerleading. She is also an avid reader. Her current favorite book is “The Girl in the Locked Room.” If Alivia could have a superpower, it would be the ability to fly. Her personal heroes are her mother, dad, teachers, and friends. If Alivia had a walkup song it would be “Your Spirit.”Alivia’s future goals are focused on “making the world a more peaceful place.” With her winning smile, positive energy, and willingness to make the world a better place, we see an amazing future for Alivia. ...
